Dr. Williams is an Associate Professor at Marist College.   She is also a Licensed Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist in New York State. Dr. Williams mentors students and early-career faculty of color through the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) mentoring program. A practitioner-scholar, Dr. Williams’ years of working with groups of K-12 at-risk learners in both urban and rural communities have given her clear insights into the frustrations, challenges, and joys of working as a school psychologist.

Drs. Sarah Brant-Rajahn, Eva M. Gibson, and Mariama Cook Sandifer are accomplished counselor educators dedicated to advancing the field. Dr. Brant-Rajahn, an Assistant Professor at Messiah University, draws on 7 years of experience as a school counselor in Georgia, contributing to research on school racial climate and culturally responsive pedagogy. Dr. Gibson, an Associate Professor at Austin Peay State University, transitioned from an 11-year career as a school counselor, earning recognition as ASCA's "2017 Tennessee School Counselor of the Year." She actively contributes to professional journals and holds leadership roles in counseling associations. Dr. Sandifer, also an Assistant Professor at Austin Peay State University, brings 14 years of school counseling experience from Louisiana and Texas, focusing on ASCA model implementation and student advocacy. An enrolled member of the Assiniboine-Sioux Tribes of the Fort Peck Reservation and a descendant of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma, Dr. Maegan Rides At The Door, LCPC has served as the National Native Children’s Trauma Center Director since 2015. Maegan utilizes her knowledge in culturally trauma responsive care to provide training and technical assistance with a wide variety of systems of care including but not limited to schools, child welfare, juvenile justice, and healthcare. She has been central to the design and implementation of trauma-responsive systems of care with tribal, private, federal, and state partners; the implementation of cross-system youth suicide prevention programming; and the expansion of child advocacy centers’ capacity to meet the needs of tribal communities.
